The Post held it’s first annual Halloween party, where members dressed up and competed for prizes while dining on roast pork with potatoes and carrots, and a large selection of dishes brought in by the members. First place winner of the costume contest was Daisy, the corrupt Chicago cop who was escorting Joey “Fats” Gambino (Dan Harr) and his gun moll flapper Red Hot Rosie (Rocket). Second place was the Deer (Woody Rhody) caught in the headlights (Sue Fletcher).
It was a fun evening had by all who attended, and the Post will be holding a Halloween party each year from now on. Those attending received a number of giveaways and prizes throughout the evening.
