The North Cobb Veterans Honor Guard is a team of trained veterans who augment the Military units in the local area when the deceased family’s wishes for Military Honors exceed available capability. The Honor Guard is comprised of Acworth area volunteer veterans from VFW Post 5408 and American Legion Post 304. Please contact Bob Hughes if you are interested in joining our team.
This team can perform the following Military Honors:
• 3 Volley Rifle Salute
• Flag Folding and Presentation to next of kin, and
• Bugler for the playing of “Taps.”
We regret that we are unable to perform Pall Bearer duties for casketed remains.
