Leslie Botko and Denise MacDonald visited the Post during the General Membership meeting, representing Trinity Hospica Care of Georgia. Leslie and Denise came to talk about their need for volunteers to help with veteran visits and events at the numerous care facilities in which they operate.
These volunteer services can encompass many different things including transporting veterans to health care appointments, visiting with them one-on-one or planning a birthday party or Veteran recognition event. They are seeking veterans who might have some time to visit with other veterans in their end stages of life to give support, chat about service times and more.
