On May 23rd, ladies of the Auxiliary spent the morning selling poppies outside City Hall in downtown aworth to help raise awareness of the meaning behind Memorial Day. Pennie Groover, Mary Zelley and Lynda Asby, along with Lynda’s granddaughter, sold the poppies and talked with those who spent a few minutes at the booth learning about the meaning of the holiday.
