The Ron Asby North Cobb American Legion Post 304 will be having a significant presence at this coming weekend’s Taste of Acworth on Saturday, October 12th, in downtown Acworth. This event draws in excess of 15k to 20k people from all over the area, and provides our Post an opportunity to raise some serious funds for operations and programs.
We will be hosting an Oktoberfest-style beer and brat tent, where live music will be provided. Brat bites will be $3, and 12oz cups of beer will be $4. We will also have Post merch like hats, wooden toys and more for sale to help raise funds.
We still need a few fill-in volunteers to work the event. But, more importantly, we need YOU to tell all your friends and family to attend the event and join us at our tent which will be located near the empty parking lot at the west part of the downtown area. We have a great location, and hope to see you there.
