The Federal Aviation Administration dedicated the new hangar at Cobb County International Airport in Kennesaw on Friday. The more than 23,000-foot hangar houses six aircraft that support the agency’s flight inspection program.
FAA pilots and technicians will fly six Beechcraft King Air 300 out of the facility to airports across the Southeast, where they monitor the navigation systems that pilots use to ensure they are functioning properly, according to FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen.
