Greetings from your 2024-25 Officer Nominations Committee (Chuck Polk, Chair & John Finch, Member). Yes, nominations for your Post 304 Officer slate are underway and will continue, both self-noms & noms from others, through to our next Membership Mtg, Thu, May 16th.
Only “members in good standing’ are eligible to put forth nominations. Hence, the two separate emails to ensure all true 2024 members may make nominations.
Per our Constitution/By-Laws, those elected will assume their 2024-25 offices at our first meeting following the annual Dept of GA Convention, scheduled in June each year. Translation: Officer installations for Post 304, AL Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, and Legion 304 Riders will occur together at our July 18th Mtg/Dinner.
