As in past years, Post 304 had a good presence at the Acworth Fourth of July celebration at Cauble Park. Along with soda and water, we had Culver’s Frozen Custard for sale to the attendees. Patrons enjoyed a selection of vanilla, chocolate, mint oreo and chocolate covered strawberry. Several Post members stepped up to help and we would like to give a big thanks to each and every one who did.
Special recognition goes to Larry Redding for all the work he did with setup, working the event, teardown and cleanup the next day. If only we had more Post volunteers who worked as hard as Larry and were willing to step up when needed.
