Post Adjutant Jack Kimmich is back with Oktoberfest at the Post on Saturday, October 12th from 5pm – 8pm. As in the past, Jack will make three traditional German meals that you can choose from to enjoy, along with plenty of German bier (yes, that’s beer in German). Each meal is listed below with the prices. Dessert will also be offered.
- Viener Schnitzel mit Rotkohl mit Apfel und Spaetzle (Wiener schnitzel with German egg noodles sauteed with onions and butter and red cabbage) – $12.50
- Bratwurst mit sauerkraut und deutschem Kartoffelsalat (Wurst plate w/2 brats, sauerkraut, and cold German potato salad) – $12.50
- Jaegerschnitzel mit cremiger Pilzsobe und Rotkohl mit Apfel und spaetzle (Hunter schnitzel with German egg noodles sauteed with onions and butter and red cabbage in a Burgundy and mushroom sauce) – $14.00
- (Dessert) Kirschstreusel mit Vanilleeis (Cherry Streusel with Vanilla Ice Cream) – $2.50
