NZI Remembers Ron Asby

NZI Services of Jasper, GA, has long been a friend of the Ron Asby North Cobb American Legion Post 304, providing various forms of sponsorships over the years. One of the reasons they chose our Post is thanks to Ron Asby.

“Ron was such an inspiration to veterans of all branches,” says Sam Adams, owner of NZI services. “He had a boundless amount of energy he dedicated to helping create one of the best American Legion Posts in the country. His devotion to making the lives of our country’s veterans better is his greatest legacy, along with his wonderful family.”

Sam and Ron became friends after Ron’s oldest daughter, Stacy, went to work for the Adams family as their nanny. While Sam’s two daughters were small, Stacy watched them everyday. The girls often spent time with Ron and the rest of the Asby family as well. When Sam’s youngest daughter started school, Stacy (Asby) Robinson went to work at NZI and has been there ever since.

Now, years later, both the Adams daughters are grown and work in the business along with their former nanny. The Asby’s are family to the Adams’, and Ron and Sam spent many happy times together as great friends.

The Post, named after Sam’s friend, would like to thank NZI and the Adams family for their continued support of the Ron Asby North Cobb American Legion Post 304.
