New National Commander – Thank You For This Honor

It’s truly an honor and a privilege to be elected to serve as your National Commander for the 2022-2023 term. Thank you for this opportunity.

2022 has been a remarkable year. President Biden signed the historic PACT Act, we’re launching new programs to serve veterans’ mental health needs, and we’re developing partnerships to introduce The American Legion to a new generation of veterans.

As my tenure begins, I want to build on these successes. I also want to ensure that as an organization we are addressing the issues that are most important to our valued members.

So, I want to know … what matters most to you?

Mental Health and Veteran Suicide
Advocating for Veterans
Reaching Younger Veterans

Your feedback is more important than ever to ensure we’re providing veterans like you with the service and support you need.

But we need members to keep up the momentum. After you click on what’s most important to you, you will be redirected to a renewal page where you can easily log into your account and renew your membership for 2023.

I’m excited to see what the next year brings us. I hope you will stand with me and your fellow veterans as a Legionnaire in 2023.

Thank you.

For God and country,

Vincent J. Troiola
National Commander
