Retired Navy LCDR with just shy of 26 yrs of service. Served as a Hospital Corpsman with the Marines for eight years and a Medical Planner (officer) for 7 years.
Medical Service Corps officer with experience in Patient Administration, Plans Operations and Medical Intelligence, Managed Care, and served as a Chief Operating Officer of a Naval Health clinic, a Battalion S3 Officer and a Company Commander with Medical Battalion. Served as the II Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), Medical Planner for 3 years and Deployed as the II MEF FWD/Regional Command Southwest, Medical Planner to Camp Leatherneck on 2 Star General Staff. Responsible for MEDEVAC mission PLANS AND OPS in Helmand and Nimroz provinces as well as spearheaded Healthcare development of Afghanistan National Army and Afghanistan National Police healthcare support, medical battalion construct and medevac system. Spent 4 years as a Emergency Manager and Joint Medical Plans and Operations Officer with USNORTHCOM at FEMA Region 4 in Atlanta, GA. Became a Certified Emergency Manager – Georgia.
Retired from the service and stepped into a job with Selective Service System after 4 days of terminal leave and worked up from the Administrative Officer from 14NOV2016 to 28SEP2018 and now the Operations Manager from 29SEP2018 to present. Responsible for 6 full time employees, 15 State Directors and 47 Reserve Service Members who support the Selective Service peacetime and mobilization mission.
