The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Atlanta and the Georgia Department of Veterans Service are partnering to say “Thank You” to Korean War Veterans for their honorable military service and personal sacrifice by hosting a special medal and certificate ceremony.
A luncheon hosted by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Atlanta will follow the presentation. This event is free and open to the public, however, due to limited seating capacity, registration ends on Friday, July 19, 2019.
Registration is required to receive a certificate.
Korean War veterans interested in receiving a certificate may contact the GDVS Central Office via email bzeringue@vs.state.ga.us with their DD Form 214 attached, or fax their information (name, address, phone number and guest count) and DD Form 214 to 404- 656-7006.
Submissions should be marked with “Columbus Certificates.”
