Who doesn’t love a good BBQ! Just taste that pulled pork or bbq’d quarter-chicken on your plate, along with the baked beans, cole slaw, bread and homemade peach cobbler. Is your mouth watering yet? Then you’re in luck.
On November 7, from noon until the food runs out, the Ron Asby North Cobb American Legion Post 304 will be holding its 6th annual BBQ dinner. You can have your choice of meat and sides mentioned above, along with coffee and water. The public is invited, so make sure to tell all your friends about it.
Ticket prices will be announced this week. Walk-ins are welcome and tickets will be available the day of the event. One pound bags of pulled pork will also be available for purchase to take home.
The SAL will also be hosting its annual blood drive starting at 10am. Anyone donating blood will receive a FREE BBQ dinner from the SAL.
