The Ron Asby North Cobb American Legion Post 304 will be hosting a booth at the July 4th celebration in Acworth. The event is located at Cauble Park, and the Post will have a booth in a prime location near the entrance to the park by the beach.
We will be selling bottled water and Culver’s Frozen Custard in single serve cups. The event setup starts at 10am, and break down should be about 10pm. We will need about 6 people on each shift to help sell, manage money and run items from coolers and freezers to the front.
Shifts will be 10am to 2pm, 2pm to 6pm, and 6pm to 10pm. Volunteers are welcome to stay longer than four hours, and the booth provides a good location to view the fireworks at night and listen to the bands throughout the day.
Sign up sheets will be in the bar at the Post. If you sign up, please commit to being there to help. Let’s make this a great event for the post and bring in some much needed cash.
