On Thursday, August 15th, at the General Membership meeting two members of the Acworth Police Department gave a presentation on the food bank they have organized out of the old jail. Jamie Mullinax and Emily Hall informed Post members about the food bank and the need for non-perishable food items and toiletries.
Post members are encouraged to donate to the food bank by taking any items to the Acworth Police Department during regular business hours. The APD is located at 4400 Acworth Industrial Dr NW in Acworth. We hope Post members will step up for the APD’s efforts to end local hunger.
