Georgia’s B Company 11-21 Infantry of the Army Nat’l Guard, currently deployed to Kuwait, is seeking our help along with other veterans organizations. Many in their unit do not receive any kind of care packages from families and would like to ask that we step up to help them. They are in need of the following items:
- AA batteries
- DUDE wipes (an essential item they cannot get overseas)
- Individual snack bags (Cheez-its, Takis, Rice Crispy treats, M&Ms, etc.)
- Country Time lemonade packets
- Liquid IV and drip-drop packets
- Small bottles of ibuprofen
- Waterproof playing cards
- Georgia State Flags
- American Flags
- Rags and toothbrishes to clean weapons
- Board games
We have a collection box at the post where you can donate items until August 16th when they will be collected.
