On May 13th, the Ron Asby North Cobb American Legion Post 304 annual golf tournament was held at the Dogwood Country Club in Austell. Despite weather threatening rain all day, 50 players took to the course to raise over $3000 for the Post’s veteran programs.
Taking first place was the team consisting of Steve Lubben; Don Waldon; Chris Harper; Jay Johnson, shooting a 54. The “most honest” team was our Commander’s, Naomi Munevar. Numerous local sponsors provided items for prizes, catering and more.
