Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s military, from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day.
Current and past military men and women will be honored with free park admission July 4 through 7 and can bring up to 6 guests for a discounted price.
On June 29 through July 7, Carowinds will waive the regular admission fee for active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. Up to 6 immediate family members of military personnel can purchase tickets for only $39.99.
Military members get free admission to Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores Waterpark on July 4 through 6. All active, retired or honorably discharged military members are eligible, plus up to six tickets can be purchased for immediate family members at the military discount rate.
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is offering free admission and discounted Zoombezi Bay admission to active-duty military, veterans and their immediate family, June 29 through July 7.
On July 1 through 4, Dorney Park will waive the regular admission fee for active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. Up to 6 immediate family members of military personnel can purchase tickets for only $29.99.
Funderland Amusement Park in Sacramento, CA is offering military members, veterans and their families a free day of rides on July 4.
Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park
Active or retired military members get free admission for themselves, and up to 6 additional tickets to the park for $30 each, July 4 through 7.
All veterans are eligible for Home Depot’s 10% military discount on July 4 with a DoD-issued ID, a DD214 or a Veterans Driver’s License.
At Kings Dominion July 1 through 7, all active and retired military will receive two free park admissions. Plus, up to six tickets can be purchased for $29.99 each for immediate family members of military personnel.
On July 3 through 5, Kings Island will waive the regular admission fee for active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. Plus, up to six tickets can be purchased for $35 each for immediate family members of military personnel.
Mystic Aquarium is offering free admission for veterans and active-duty service members July 1 through 31. Family members receive a discounted admission rate of $10 off general admission.
Rack Room Shoes offers a 10% military discount off your entire purchase in stores on July 4.
Sun Splash offers free one-day admission for active or retired military, disabled veterans, and military reservists on July 4, plus a $3 discount is available for up to 4 family members.
On July 4 through 7, Valleyfair will waive the regular admission fee for active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. Up to six immediate family members of military personnel can purchase tickets for $37.
Active-duty military and veterans receive complimentary admission to Worlds of Fun on July 4. Military personnel can also purchase up to six discounted tickets for their immediate family.
